Meet the Team
Robert & Kelly Moore
Special Counsel
Robert Moore is an owner emeritus of Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA which primarily focuses its practice in the area of agricultural law. The primary emphasis of his practice at Wright & Moore is farm succession planning including estate planning and business planning. Robert also works with clients on real estate transactions, landlord/tenant issues, contracts and many other issues related to agricultural law.
Robert was raised on a dairy farm in Coshocton County, Ohio. His family continues to operate the farm raising beef cattle, sheep and crops. Growing up, Robert was a member of 4-H and FFA. Robert graduated from Riverview High School in 1987.Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science and a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University. Upon graduating from OSU, Robert spent four years as an Agricultural Extension Agent in Fairfield County and five years as an Extension Associate in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Developmental Economics. While employed at OSU, Robert attended Capital University Law School’s evening program. In January, 2005 he graduated Cum Laude. Robert was admitted to the Bar in May, 2005.
Robert lives in Delaware, Ohio with his wife Kelly and daughter Maddie.
Ryan Conklin
Attorney
Ryan Conklin joined Wright & Moore in August 2015 and became the president of the firm in January 2022 after buying the office from Robert and Kelly Moore. Conklin grew up on his family's small dairy farm in Plain City, about 20 minutes from the Wright & Moore office. He attended The Ohio State University, from which he graduated in 2010 with his bachelors of agriculture degree majoring in animal sciences and agribusiness and applied economics.
After finishing his undergraduate degree, Conklin pursued his master's degree in agricultural education at the University of Florida.
After obtaining his master's degree in 2012, Ryan attended Michigan State University College of Law. While at Michigan State, Ryan built upon the knowledge of agriculture and natural resource law he acquired at the University of Florida. Conklin passed the July 2015 Ohio Bar Examination and began working with clients soon after.
With Wright & Moore, Ryan assists clients with a variety of issues related to agritourism, wind and solar leases, farmland transactions, dispute resolution, and farm transition planning for young, new, and beginning farm families. Conklin's greatest joys in private practice involve the work he has completed for agricultural non-profits and the numerous young farmers he has helped begin or advance their operations.
Ryan lives in Delaware with his wife Anna and their assorted animals. Outside the office, you can find him playing golf, skiing, watching college football, and knocking out his to-do list around the house.
Evin Bachelor
Attorney
Evin Bachelor joined Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA in October 2019. At Wright & Moore, Evin primarily focuses on crafting estate, succession, and business plans for farming families.
Born and raised in Mercer County, Evin graduated from Celina High School in 2011. For his undergraduate studies, Evin attended the Ohio State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science. He graduated magna cum laude with honors.
Evin continued his studies at Ohio State's Moritz College of Law, where he received his law degree. While in law school, Evin interned with a private law firm in Celina and with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources' Office of Legal Services. Evin served as an editor with the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law, and he won a national award from the American Agricultural Law Association for presenting on a paper he wrote about agricultural mediation programs in the United States. Always eager to learn more, Evin enrolled in additional coursework with the University of Arkansas School of Law on the topics of farm succession planning and cooperative law.
For his first job out of law school, Evin served as a law fellow and senior research associate with the Ohio State University Extension Agricultural & Resource Law Program. One of Evin's main responsibilities was to research legal topics important to farmers, and then educate farmers through factsheets, blog posts, live presentations, podcasts, and more. He also assisted with the agribusiness law course at Ohio State.
Evin passed the July 2018 Ohio Bar Examination and was sworn into the practice of law in Ohio on November 13, 2018 during a special session of the Ohio Supreme Court. He also passed the February 2019 Indiana Bar Examination and was sworn into the practice of law in Indiana on May 14, 2019 during a special session of the Indiana Supreme Court.
Evin remains an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association, American Agricultural Law Association, and Ohio Farm Bureau. He is currently serving as an adjunct professor teaching agricultural law at the Wright State University Lake Campus.
Andrew Wecker
Attorney
Andrew Wecker joined Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA in December 2022, where he leads the property law practice and landowner advocacy. Rated AV pre-eminent by Martindale-Hubbell, in 2022, Columbus CEO magazine included Andy in its list of Best Lawyers in the category of real estate. Andy cares about homegrown prosperity in Ohio and the people who make, fix, raise & grow things. He works with them to find and finance the places to do what they do for the rest of us. He also works for landowners when they are approached by developers for easements and long-term land leases for cell towers and alternative energy projects.
Andy grew up in Medina County in Northeast Ohio, graduated from Ohio University in Southeast Ohio, and has lived and worked in both Northwest and Southwest Ohio before he settled down in Central Ohio with his wife Kendra. He graduated from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. They have five children who have all been active in 4-H with lamb, poultry and rabbit projects, as well as serving other 4-H'ers in roles such as junior fair board member, camp counselor, life guard and registered nurse.
Andy was president of his local board of education when the community passed a bond issue to build and then start construction a new high school, stadium and elementary school. One of his proudest achievements was to keep a quality woodshop and drafting program in the high school to go with his school district's strong FFA program. He belongs to the advisory council of the C. William Swank Program in Rural-Urban Policy at OSU's College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, as well as the member advisory committee of Consolidated Cooperative, which provides electricity, fiber optic broad band and gas to its members.
When they are not at work, Andy and Kendra enjoy spending time with each other, their children and their friends, preferably outdoors at their place, on Alum Creek Reservoir or the west basin of Lake Erie, camping, boating, hiking, hunting, fishing, or gardening.
Johnny Cottingim
Attorney
Johnny Cottingim is an attorney at Wright & Moore Law who combines his farm roots with legal expertise to help clients create strong plans for their farms' futures. Raised on his family's beef farm in Preble County, Ohio, Johnny understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of farm life.
After earning a degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky, Johnny joined Wright & Moore Law, where he focuses on farm succession and business planning.
Outside of work, Johnny enjoys sports, hunting, and perfecting his smoking and BBQ skills. He lives in Delaware, Ohio, with his wife, Meredith, and their dog, Phoebe, and looks forward to returning to the family farm.
Elizabeth Fisher
Attorney
Elizabeth joined Wright & Moore in July 2025 as a Junior Associate in the Farm Succession and Legacy Preservation team, with a focus on estate and business planning.
Elizabeth grew up on a beef cattle farm in Jackson, Ohio and was active in Pike County 4-H: showing cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, and rabbits and being a member of the Junior Fairboard and Livestock Judging Team. She graduated from Waverly High School, where she was active in sports and band, as well as local community groups. Elizabeth attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Industry. After five years in the sports and entertainment world, Elizabeth attended Capital University Law School, where she graduated with degree concentration areas in transactional and regulatory law.
Prior to joining Wright & Moore, Elizabeth worked at the Ohio Department of Taxation as an Attorney Hearing Officer, with a focus on sales and use tax appeals. She is excited to get back to her roots and serve the agricultural community in Ohio.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends and her blue heeler, Callie, attending sporting events, traveling, reading, kayaking, cooking and baking, and spending time outdoors.
Heather Luce
Client Relations Director
Heather joined Wright & Moore Law as Client Relations Coordinator in April 2024. In this role, she ensures a warm and welcoming experience for clients and partners, whether in person, over the phone, or via email. Her positive attitude and commitment to exceptional service reflect the firm’s casual, family-friendly atmosphere.
Originally from west-central Ohio, Heather graduated from Minster High School in 1999 and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University in 2004. After building her career in Central Ohio, she and her husband, Jason, settled in Delaware to raise their family. Heather later transitioned into an office management role in the dental field, where she excelled for a decade before joining Wright & Moore. Her compassion, administrative expertise, and love of learning make her an invaluable member of the team.
A small-town girl at heart, Heather treasures family and community. Some of her fondest memories are from childhood days spent on her family’s farm. She appreciates how her role at Wright & Moore connects her to her roots. Outside of work, she enjoys life with her husband and their three daughters—Audrey, Emma, and Hannah—whether cheering from the sidelines at soccer games, playing tennis, or sharing quiet evenings with books and movies.
Heather embodies a spirit of togetherness and gratitude, finding fulfillment in her work and joy in life’s simple moments. Her motto, “There’s no place like home,” perfectly captures her approach to both her career and family life.
Katie Miner
Chief Operations Officer
Katie Miner joined the Wright & Moore Family in May 2024 as the Office Operations Coordinator at the Delaware Office.
Katie assists in many ways such as billing, human resources, project management, vendor relations, and employee engagement.
Originally from Medina County, Katie graduated from Medina High School. She went on to graduate with a hospitality management degree from Cuyahoga Community College. From there, she lived in Miami Florida for 8 years and returned to Ohio in 2019. If you ask her, Katie will tell you she would have never expected to be working for a law firm, but she is thrilled to be a part of the team.
Since working from the start of age 15, she has held many titles but her favorites are wife and mom. Katie lives in Delaware with her husband Tim and son Owen. When not at work they can be found enjoying life together.
Danielle Fishpaw
Legal Assistant
Danielle Fishpaw joined the Wright & Moore family in July 2024 as a legal assistant and is assisting the office with a wide range of estate planning, business planning, real estate, and estate administration projects. Danielle works primarily in the Celina Office.
Originally from Mercer County, Danielle graduated from Celina High School in 2011. Danielle went on to complete a Bachelor Degree in Accounting at Ball State University. There, she was a member of the Miller Business Honors Program. She did her thesis project on taking physical inventory counts while she interned at an agriculture co‐op in West Central Ohio, Mercer Landmark. She also attended Deloitte's National Leadership Conference.
Danielle lives in Celina with her husband James, and two boys, Colten and Rhett. She enjoys camping, gardening and spending time with her family.
Paul Hansen
Legal Assistant
Paul Hansen joined Wright & Moore Law Co., LPA, in January 2025 as a Legal Assistant on our Farm Succession & Legacy Preservation team. With a background in estate planning and elder law—as well as being part of a fourth-generation farm family from western Illinois—he is passionate about protecting our clients’ legacies and businesses, helping to develop bespoke plans tailored to each family's unique needs.
Paul graduated from Grinnell College in central Iowa with a degree in Political Science, focusing on Constitutional Law, Domestic Politics, and International Relations & Diplomacy. As part of an international learning program, he also spent a semester at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, studying the political dynamics of the Korean Peninsula. Originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Paul lived in Germany and Denmark for nearly a decade before settling in Columbus in 2017, where he resides today.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys reading, exercising, listening to music, exploring Columbus’ Metro Parks through the lens of his camera, and spending time with his partner, Alyson.
Chase Rodemann
Paralegal
Chase Rodemann joined Wright & Moore Law Co. in April 2025, joining the Farm Succession & Legacy Preservation Team as a Paralegal. Having previously worked in Finance as well as Estate Planning and Elder Law, Chase brings a unique perspective to our planning process, ensuring that our clients are properly equipped to protect what means most to them, and feel confident doing so.
Chase graduated from The Ohio State University in 2021 with a degree in French and minors in Psychology and International Studies. He also completed his Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Law & Paralegal Studies at the University of Cincinnati, finishing in August 2025. Growing up spending time at his grandma’s farm in Union County, he is grateful to have the opportunity to help farming families protect their legacy.
In his free time, Chase enjoys spending time outside – whether it be golf, hiking, exercising, or going on long walks with his partner, Cassie.
Amber Moreland
Legal Assistant
Amber joined the Wright & Moore family in July 2025 as a Legal Assistant for landowner advocacy and rural development. Her extensive background in real estate and community engagement brings a valuable perspective to her role, where she supports clients navigating complex land use matters and helps champion the interests of Ohio’s rural communities.
Amber offers nearly three decades of experience in real estate and community-focused administration. Her career began in 1995 at a small title company owned by her mother, where she developed a deep understanding of property transactions. Eager to expand her knowledge, Amber transitioned into other roles within the real estate field.
After nearly 20 years in the real estate industry, she embraced a new opportunity that aligned with both her professional skills and community values. This role allowed her to remain rooted in her community while taking on meaningful initiatives. She was instrumental in managing financial assistance programs, overseeing youth outreach efforts such as Junior Fair and scholarship programs, and supporting local governance. Additionally, Amber played a key role in advancing strategic initiatives and organizational objectives, helping to align internal operations with long-term goals and community needs.
Amber is also an active civic leader, having served on several boards including the United Way of Morrow County, the Morrow County Chamber of Commerce, and The Tomorrow Center.
At the heart of Amber’s life is her family. She is the proud mother of Brock and Kelly and shares a close bond with her extended family, including nieces she considers her own. Outside of work, Amber enjoys shopping, diving into true crime podcasts and documentaries, reading psychological thrillers and spending time with friends—her “bonus family”—at weekly trivia nights and social gatherings.
Paul L. Wright
Founder, 1938-2024
Wright & Moore honors the extraordinary life of Paul Wright, a pioneer in agricultural law whose legacy continues to inspire. Paul dedicated decades to advancing the legal needs of farmers and agribusinesses, founding Wright Law in 1991 and playing a pivotal role in the creation of the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA), where he served as president in 1998.
An esteemed inductee of the Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2006, Paul's contributions to the agricultural industry have profoundly impacted countless colleagues, clients, and communities. His distinguished career included 29 years with The Ohio State University Extension, where he served as a County 4-H Agent, Area Farm Management Agent, and State Specialist in Agricultural Law. Retiring in 1988 as Associate Professor Emeritus, Paul left an indelible mark through his teaching, publications, and thought leadership in agricultural law and economics.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education (1960) and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics (1970) from The Ohio State University, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo in 1978. His accolades include the AALA Distinguished Service Award in 1994 and The Ohio State University Distinguished Alumni Award in 2003, reflecting his tireless commitment to excellence.
A man of deep faith and family values, Paul was a devoted member of Northwest United Methodist Church, where he actively contributed to the church's initiatives. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Bev, and to Sue, his current wife, and a proud father to his children. His community involvement extended beyond his professional work, as he served in leadership roles for Methodist ElderCare Services and Wesley Glen, leaving a lasting impact on elder care initiatives in central Ohio.
Paul's humility, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the agricultural community earned him the admiration and respect of those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but remembered fondly for his faith, kindness, and remarkable contributions to the field of agricultural law.
Rest in peace, Paul.
