Ryan Conklin

Ryan Conklin joined Wright & Moore in August 2015 and became the president of the firm in January 2022 after buying the office from Robert and Kelly Moore. Conklin grew up on his family’s small dairy farm in Plain City, about 20 minutes from the Wright & Moore office. He attended The Ohio State University, from which he graduated in 2010 with his bachelors of agriculture degree majoring in animal sciences and agribusiness and applied economics.

After finishing his undergraduate degree, Conklin pursued his master’s degree in agricultural education at the University of Florida.

After obtaining his master’s degree in 2012, Ryan attended Michigan State University College of Law. While at Michigan State, Ryan built upon the knowledge of agriculture and natural resource law he acquired at the University of Florida. Conklin passed the July 2015 Ohio Bar Examination and began working with clients soon after.

With Wright & Moore, Ryan assists clients with a variety of issues related to agritourism, wind and solar leases, farmland transactions, dispute resolution, and farm transition planning for young, new, and beginning farm families. Conklin’s greatest joys in private practice involve the work he has completed for agricultural non-profits and the numerous young farmers he has helped begin or advance their operations.

Ryan lives in Delaware with his wife Anna and their assorted animals. Outside the office, you can find him playing golf, skiing, watching college football, and knocking out his to-do list around the house.
