Kent Jorgensen joined Wright & Moore Law Co. LPA in 2013. The primary focus of his practice at Wright & Moore is business organizations, real estate transactions, Oil and Gas issues, contracts, and general agricultural law. Kent interned with the firm over the summer of 2012.
Kent grew up on his family’s farm in Parma, Idaho, raising corn, wheat, hay, and pinto beans. Kent also worked for several years with Syngenta Seeds as a hybrid sweet corn seed procurement specialist. While with Syngenta he worked directly with labor crews to organize work efforts, and to resolve labor disputes.
In 2004 Kent completed a two year mission for his church in Argentina, where he learned to speak Spanish fluently.
Kent attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Communications in 2009. He earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2013. He is a member of both the Ohio State Bar Association, as well as the American Agricultural Law Association. Kent has twice spoken at the AALA annual law symposium on various topics.
Kent is active in his church, and community. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and working on cars. He resides in Powell, Ohio with his wife and two children.Email Kent at KJorgensen@OhioFarmLaw.com
